TYPE AND GRID VS HIERARCHY - revisit

I thought that I would mix my type and grid task with the hierarchy task previously set, so I  have used the double page spread that I redesigned.
I decided to look at it in terms of weighting and pt size, however have also noted how else this article could be measured using a project posted on 'Thinking With Type'.

In terms of size and weighting, with this article I found that the most important information was not necessarily the 'biggest'. What stands out the most in this spread is the dropped capital, or initial, at the beginning of the first paragraph that is used to purely enhance the text. It is used for both aesthetic reasons and to call out attention to the text that is about to follow it, sometimes improving readability. More formal pieces will use minimalistic styles.
What I would consider to be the most important in this text is the main heading that is aptly written in caps in order to catch the readers eye - 'THE WOMAN WHO CREATED THE SUPERMODEL'
The wording of this title makes you want to read on, it's intriguing, it makes you question who did create the supermodel? This is then answered just below a rather large image of the woman herself through the use of a change in colour - red in the middle of a white sentence.
After this, quotes then become the next important piece of information in terms of making people read the article. By making these quite drastically larger in size than the body copy, and in striking red, they become a focal point in a sea of text. Bold quotes pull you in, and makes you visually interested in what the article may have to offer.
