ISTD - lookbook development

I began my lookbooks by mocking up some possible layouts on InDesign, using digital images from the individuals blogs, as well as my own illustrations. The layout was kept simple, with bold type that stood out against the images. Lookbooks generally don't have much content and therefore what little text there is must say a lot about what is going on.

I wanted there to be a running visual throughout all the lookbooks, and therefore looked at using similar layouts and categories. Title pages also allowed me to create continuity within the designs.
I then went on to develop individual bloggers further.

After producing a number of designs, it soon dawned on me how long it was going to take within the time scale that I had. It seemed to be a lot of work for something that wasn't fully answering the brief. It would make much more sense for me to produce one really in depth and well-worked publication, in which I could display ten things that you should know about that particular individual.
