ISTD - range of products

Print products
Here are some digital mock-ups of how I expect my finished products to look. The solid black on the packaging and the publication will be foiled. The pack will include stickers and a variety of postcards that the user can utilise however they wish. As the audience are very hands-on, creative individuals, it made sense to include items that they would be likely to use, and that they could use on inspiration boards, or pin up as reference.

Product range with other possible postcard selections. It may be more consistent to include postcards that display the illustrations from inside the publication, as a number of digital photographs may clash and cause contrast.

Stickers
I wanted to see how the stickers would work with both a coloured background and a stark white background. I don't want to introduce too many colours into the range as there are already a large number of colours within the digital images. By keeping the background white I feel that there will be much more focus on the illustrations, displaying the detail much clearer.

Packaging
I wanted to create something special that would hold the publication and all the extras that came with it.  This would also give me the opportunity to introduce my foiling into my work, which would visually look very pleasing and would suit the content. The pack was designed so that it was deep enough to hold everything inside, whilst being easy to use and convenient.

Postcards
Here are a range of possible postcards that may be part of a proposed exhibition, part of the publication pack or could be handed out within shops or at events. I wanted to look at a mixture of digital and illustrative designs to see which would flow better.

Exhibition and products

After speaking with my peers about where it was most appropriate to hold an exhibit displaying the top fashion bloggers of today's society, and the influence they project, it was decided that the Saatchi Gallery was most suited. This was mainly because of the contemporary work on display, and also because of it's location - London is a prime location for the fashion-led.

Poster development
Some simple, stand-out designs that would advertise a fictitious exhibition regarding the history of bloggers from around the world. My initial instinct was to call the exhibition 'influence', which ties in to the context of my work, as it was all about how much influence bloggers hold over individuals and the fashion world.
I also looked at simply using the illustrations from within the publication and also a logo that was created for web.

Posters in context

Women's t shirts
I looked at possible products that would be sold as part of the exhibition. I looked at what the Saatchi gallery already has to offer, and they tend to sell t-shirts, mugs and publications that relate to their chosen artists.

Men's t shirts

Tote bags
Here are a number of designs that I will go on to screen print. I have exposed my images onto a screen, and I will use both black and pink when it comes to printing.
