Group feedback about products
Five things you don't know about the products
1. The actual content of the publications - only that they're cooking/baking related
2. Where the publications were bound - industry standard or self-done
3. If they are available for purchase - products out there to be bought/consumed by an audience
4. Whether or not some of the products are mocked up digitally
5. The real physical durability of the products
Five things you need to find out about processes you want to use
1. How to foil on something that is double-sided - use of professional heat press not just laminator
2. How to only foil on a certain area of a design without it sticking/melting
3. How to cut out nets quickly and efficiently using the laser cutter
4. How to print spot colours that are extremely vivid and bright
5. How to use different formats within one format - how can they be bound (different paper sizes)
Favourite product - Rooted in Love
Three reasons why favourite product is bad
1. It is intended for a wedding, unsure that it really fits it's context - may suit audience but may also cause confusion
2. Some of the products in the range aren't as effective as the rest - the tote bag looks out of place
3. Overkill of product range (wine bottles, wedding favour) - however, is intended for wedding - would suit context of "cookbook" much better
Three reasons why favourite object is good
1. Use of illustration makes product much more personal - always reflects time and effort - contrast between stock and illustration
2. Context the photographs have been pout in - use of outside objets to create an overall visual
3. The idea of a "gift pack" and placing everything together as one in a way that displays the range of formats
4. Personal touches - use of string and rubber ink stamp
5. Deep consideration of audience and their interests
