"Our friends across the pond just can’t get enough of Ted – well who can blame them. Just the other week a new store opened in Arizona and now Ted has set up shop in Santa Monica, California.
In the newly refurbished Santa Monica Place, Ted’s created a monument to the retro British seaside. With candy colours, dilapidated signage and even a carousel horse, it’s the best of an English seaside minus the miserable weather, plus the beautiful Californian sunshine.
To celebrate the opening of this store by the shore, there are competitions, tasty treats and obviously, Ted’s latest menswear and womenswear collections to enjoy. Sea you there."
Although we didn't want to completely change direction, as we felt we had some promising ideas, the theme would have to be changed. Our strongest ideas surrounded the theme of holidaying, or 'vacationing'. We therefore wanted to make sure that these would still be incorporated. In order to do this, we have decided to go with the use of the countryside, which we believe strongly reflects Ted's image, even more so than our original idea.
