Singular card development
Please note wrong font was used here. Should be Helvetica Condensed.
Each card would be just under the dimensions of the envelope in order to fit in nicely.
The problem with singular cards is that if they're equal dimensions to the envelope then they become something that the recipient can't really carry round. They become a bit impractical.
However, if they're made to be the size of a usual business card, they become lost inside of the envelope. It seems a bit of a strange thing to have a large envelope with tiny pieces inside.
Cut out tips are therefore a perfect solution to this. The above are simple and to the point, but a bit boring. There isn't any interaction at all.
Cut out cards
With cut out worksheets, usually the standard scissors clip art is on there somewhere. I had a go at creating one simply using live trace.

An example of how this could possibly be applied to the situation
Can't quite decide whether or not this would be appropriate or even necessary.
Moving on to looking at the possibility of having more than one card on a sheet the same dimension as the envelope that can then be cut out. However, the plan was to include quite a range of tips. This would lead to there being quite a few of these having to be made. A more practical way of solving this would be to have all the tips on one larger sheet that can then fold into a much more compact and efficient page.
