ISTD - final images

Here are some of the final images of my printed product, which I am really happy with. There were a few issues whilst printing, which was a bit disappointing, however I am pleased with the outcome. During printing, as the spreads are double sided, there were a few that didn't quite line up, and therefore page numbers were cut off and some of the images don't line up. Unfortunately, the print room was so busy that I was unable to get the chance to re-print the pages that didn't quite work. Despite this, I worked with what I had and the finished outcome gives you an idea of how the product would look.

Publication in packaging
I chose to package the product in a cellophane bag. This not only protects the foiling on the product, but it will also allow me to include gifts, such as a tote bag, following the aesthetics of a zine.

Publication, stickers and postcards
The zine and the stickers are inside a little case that keeps everything safe and together. I feel this is a nice touch and makes it more a keep sake, allowing you to keep everything in one place, as well as storing more pieces of your own inspiration and research.
The foiled front is extremely effective, and came out with a mottled effect, which relates well to the title.

Inside pages of the publication
The chosen stock was an off-white cartridge paper, which is appropriate to it's content and to it's purpose. If gloss stock was used, I feel it would have had too much of a 'professional' aesthetic to it, making the reader too wary of ripping pages out.

Stickers
The stickers were packaged in a cellophane bag, and comes with a selection of illustrations that feature within the publication.

Range
I put the publication together with some of the products in order to see how it would work aesthetically together as a range. The fuchsia compliments the teal of the packaging, allowing everything to work effectively as a set.
